§58‑65‑20. Members of governing boards.
(a) For the purpose ofthis section the words "board of directors" includes the board ofdirectors, trustees, or other governing board.
(b) The board ofdirectors of each hospital service corporation subject to the provisions ofthis Article shall include persons who are representative of its subscribersand the general public. Less than one half of the directors of any suchcorporation shall be persons who are licensed to practice medicine in thisState or who are paid directors or employees of a corporation organized forhospital purposes.
