§ 62‑36.  Reportsby utilities; canceling certificates for failure to file.

The Commission may require any public utility to file annual reports insuch form and of such content as the Commission may require and special reportsconcerning any matter about which the Commission is authorized to inquire or tokeep informed, or which it is required to enforce. All reports shall be underoath when required by the Commission. The Commission may issue an order,without notice or hearing, canceling or suspending any certificate ofconvenience and necessity or any certificate of authority 30 days after thedate of service of the order for failing to file the required annual report atthe time it was due. In the event the report is filed during the 30‑dayperiod, the order of cancellation or suspension shall be null and void.
