§63‑72. Authority of Department of Transportation to operate airports andexpend funds therefor.
The Department is authorizedto operate state‑owned or leased airports or any airport for which theState has obtained a special use permit to operate. The Department may expendfunds appropriated for grants to airports for the purpose of operating,maintaining, and improving state‑owned or leased airports, or any airportfor which the State has obtained a special use permit to operate and maintain.
