§75‑35. Simulation of checks and invoices.
No person engaged in commerceshall in any manner issue any writing which simulates or resembles: (i) anegotiable instrument; or (ii) an invoice, unless the intended recipient hasactually contracted for goods, property, or services for which the issuer seeksproper payment. (1979, c. 879, s. 1.)
