§78D‑26.  Cooperation with other agencies.

(a)        To encourageuniform application and interpretation of this Chapter and securitiesregulation and enforcement in general, the Administrator and the employees ofthe Administrator may cooperate, including bearing the expense of thecooperation, with the securities agencies or administrator of anotherjurisdiction, Canadian province or territory or such other agenciesadministering this Chapter, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, theSecurities and Exchange Commission, any self‑regulatory organizationestablished under the Commodity Exchange Act or the Securities Exchange Act of1934, any national or international organization of commodities or securitiesofficials or agencies, and any governmental law enforcement agency.

(b)        The cooperationauthorized by subsection (a) shall include, but need not be limited to, thefollowing:

(1)        Making jointexaminations or investigations;

(2)        Holding jointadministrative hearings;

(3)        Filing andprosecuting joint litigation;

(4)        Sharing andexchanging personnel;

(5)        Sharing andexchanging information and documents;

(6)        Formulating andadopting mutual regulations, statements of policy, guidelines, proposedstatutory changes and releases; and

(7)        Issuing andenforcing subpoenas at the request of the agency administering this Chapter inanother jurisdiction, the securities agency of another jurisdiction, theCommodity Futures Trading Commission or the Securities and Exchange Commissionif the information sought would also be subject to lawful subpoena for conductoccurring in this State.
