§ 90‑18.2A. Physicianassistants receiving, prescribing, or dispensing prescription drugs withoutcharge or fee.
The North Carolina MedicalBoard shall have sole jurisdiction to regulate and license physician assistantsreceiving, prescribing, or dispensing prescription drugs under the supervisionof a licensed physician without charge or fee to the patient. The provisions ofG.S. 90‑18.1(c)(1), (c)(2), and G.S. 90‑85.21(b), shall not applyto the receiving, prescribing, or dispensing of prescription drugs withoutcharge or fee to the patient.
