§95‑229. Construction of Article; severability.
This Article shall beliberally construed to the end that the safety and health of the migrants ofthis State may be effectuated and protected.
The provisions of this Articleare severable, and if any provision of this Article is held invalid by a courtof competent jurisdiction, the invalidity may not affect other provisions ofthe Article, which can be given effect without the invalid provision. (1989,c. 91, s. 2.)
