(a)  Restriction.--A certificate holder shall only be     permitted to operate table games at the licensed facility, a     temporary facility authorized under subsection (a.1) or an area     authorized under subsection (b).        (a.1)  Temporary facilities.--The board may permit a     certificate holder to conduct table games at a temporary     facility which is physically connected to, attached to or     adjacent to a licensed facility for a period not to exceed 24     months.        (b)  Powers and duties of board.--Upon request made by a     certificate holder, the board may determine the suitability of a     hotel for the conduct of table games. The board may authorize     the executive director to designate specific areas of a licensed     facility, other than the gaming floor, or specific areas of a     hotel, including conference rooms, ballrooms or other rooms, in     which the certificate holder may conduct contests or     tournaments. No certificate holder may be approved to conduct     table games in a licensed facility or a hotel unless the areas     to be designated are equipped with adequate security and     surveillance equipment to ensure the integrity of the conduct of     a table game contest or tournament. The certificate holder shall     notify the board of the number of gaming tables that the     certificate holder intends to operate during a contest or     tournament, and the board shall designate an employee of the     board to approve or deny the request. An authorization granted     under this section may not:            (1)  Impose any criteria or requirements regarding the        contents or structure of a hotel which are unrelated to the        conduct of table games.            (2)  Authorize the placement or operation of slot        machines in a hotel.
