1141 - Pittsburgh Magistrates Court.

                               SUBCHAPTER C                       PITTSBURGH MAGISTRATES COURT     Sec.     1141.  Pittsburgh Magistrates Court.     1142.  Seat of court.     1143.  Jurisdiction and venue.     1144.  Lien of judgment.        Salary and Expenses.  Section 24(b) of Act 142 of 1976     provided that, notwithstanding any other provisions of Act 142,     the salary and expenses of the judges of the Pittsburgh     Magistrates Court shall be paid by the City of Pittsburgh.        Cross References.  Subchapter C is referred to in section 102     of this title.     § 1141.  Pittsburgh Magistrates Court.        The Pittsburgh Magistrates Court shall be a court not of     record and shall consist of such a number of judges, not less     than five nor more than eight, as shall be specified by     ordinance of the City of Pittsburgh. The magistrates court shall     be the police magistrates authorized to be continued in     existence by section 21, Schedule to Article V of the     Constitution of Pennsylvania adopted April 23, 1968. Judges of     the Pittsburgh Magistrates Court shall be deemed magisterial     district judges for the purposes of Chapter 33 (relating to     discipline, removal and retirement of judicial officers).
