3003 - Election and term of office of officials.
§ 3003. Election and term of office of officials. The executive (mayor), the treasurer, if elected, the district attorney in the case of counties and the controller, if elected, shall be elected by the electors at a regular municipal election and shall serve for a term of four years beginning on the first Monday of January next following his election.
