Former Chapter 1, which related to the same subject matter, was added November 15, 1972, P.L.1063, No.271, and repealed October 22, 1981, P.L.317, No.111, effective immediately. § 101. Definitions. The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: "Department." The Department of Public Welfare of the Commonwealth. "Secretary." The Secretary of the Department of Public Welfare of this Commonwealth.
