§ 10-5-15 Filing of bond and delivery ofproperty to defendant. – Upon accepting a bond given to satisfy a judgment or decree as required in thischapter, the officer shall lodge the bond with the clerk of the court to whichthe writ in the action shall be returnable and shall immediately surrender thegoods and chattels attached by him or her to the person whose interest in thegoods and chattel shall have been attached, or from whose possession the goodsand chattel were taken, by virtue of the writ.
