§ 11-18-9 Penalty for financialmisrepresentations. – Any person violating the provisions of §§ 11-18-6 – 11-18-8shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be punished foreach offense by imprisonment not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceedingfive hundred dollars ($500), or both.
