§ 15-23.1-210 Application of chapter tononresident subject to personal jurisdiction. – A tribunal of this state exercising personal jurisdiction over a nonresident ina proceeding under this chapter, under other law of this state relating to asupport order, or recognizing a support order of a foreign country or politicalsubdivision on the basis of comity may receive evidence from another statepursuant to § 15-23.1-316, communicate with a tribunal of another statepursuant to § 15-23.1-317, and obtain discovery through a tribunal ofanother state pursuant to § 15-23.1-318. In all other respects, Articles 3through 7 of this chapter do not apply and the tribunal shall apply theprocedural and substantive law of this state.
