§ 16-21-28.3 Performance standards. –The department of health, in conjunction with the American diabetesassociation, and the Rhode Island chapter of American academy of pediatrics,shall develop performance standards and guidelines for the training andsupervision of personnel, other than the school nurse, who provide emergencymedical assistance to students under this section. Such personnel shall only beauthorized to provide such assistance upon successful completion of glucagonadministration training.
