§ 16-63-14 Appropriations of state funds.– (a) The general assembly shall make certain annual appropriations of statefunds, for the purposes of adult education, as part of the total appropriationsto the department, as prescribed in § 16-5-22.
(b) The state controller is authorized to draw his or herorders upon the general treasurer for the payment of the state's obligationsarising from this chapter, or so much of the sum as may be required uponreceipt by him or her of vouchers properly authenticated by the commission.
