SECTION 2-18.1-24.1
§ 2-18.1-24.1 License fees –Apportionment. – (a) One-fifth ( 1/5) of all license fees received by the director under theprovisions of this chapter shall be paid over to the general treasurer anddeposited within the general fund, and four-fifths ( 4/5) of the fundscollected shall be deposited into a separate fund within the general fund to becalled the "nursery, feed and fertilizer quality testing fund," administered bythe general treasurer in accordance with the same laws and fiscal procedures asthe general fund of the state. This fund consists of all nursery worker'slicense fees, dealers' license fees, and fertilizer registration fees paidpursuant to §§ 2-18.1-9, 2-18.1-10, 2-7-4 and 2-7-6.
(b) That proportion of moneys placed in the nursery, feed andfertilizer testing fund collected from §§ 2-18.1-9 and 2-18.1-10 areavailable immediately, and are specifically appropriated to the director forthe following purpose, for payment of ancillary services, personnel andequipment incurred in order to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
