§ 21-28-3.31 Use of imitation controlledsubstance in research – Immunity. – No civil or criminal liability shall be imposed by virtue of this chapter onany practitioner, apothecary, or other person registered under this chapter whomanufactures, distributes, or possesses an imitation controlled substance foruse as a placebo by a registered practitioner in the course of professionalpractice or research.
