§ 21-31.1-6 - Denial of permit.

SECTION 21-31.1-6

   § 21-31.1-6  Denial of permit. – (a) A permit may be denied for any of the following:

   (1) The applicant has failed to file a complete permitapplication or the application contains material false information.

   (2) The applicant is not qualified by the criteriaestablished by regulation of the director.

   (3) The applicant has previously had a permit revoked.

   (4) The applicant has failed to pay the annual fee.

   (5) The applicant has previously been convicted of aviolation of law connected with the practice of veterinary medicine or thedistribution of drugs.

   (b) When a permit is denied, the director will cite thereasons for denial, and the applicant may request a hearing as provided by theprovisions of the Administrative Procedures Act, chapter 35 of title 42.
