§ 23-17.4-15.1 Prohibition on placementinto unlicensed assisted living residences and reporting requirements. –(a) No public agency employee shall place, refer, or recommend placement of aperson into an assisted living residence that is operating without a license.
(b) Any public agency employee who knows that an assistedliving residence is operating without a license shall report the name andaddress of the home to the licensing agency.
(c) The licensing agency shall investigate any report filedunder subsection (b). If the agency has probable cause to believe that anassisted living residence is operating without a license, it shall conduct aninspection as provided in § 23-17.4-10.
