§ 23-17.4-15.4 Medication and staffqualifications. – (a) Assisted living residence unlicensed staff shall be permitted to assistresidents in the self administration of medication including:
(1) Assistance with ordering medications.
(2) Assistance with self-storage of medications.
(3) Assistance with self-administration.
(4) Maintenance of records.
(b) Appropriately licensed staff may store and administermedications and monitor health indicators including blood pressures, adversereactions, and glucose levels.
(c) The director may establish staffing requirements forthose facilities providing medication services.
