§ 23-17.4-18 Restriction of publicassistance payments. – No officer or agent of any municipal or state agency having responsibility formaking payments of any form of public assistance under the provisions ofapplicable federal and state law shall make the payment to or on behalf of anindividual residing in an assisted living residence for adults as defined in§ 23-17.4-2, upon notification from the licensing agency, that thefacility does not qualify for licensure pursuant to this chapter. Thedepartment of human services will notify the licensing agency on an annualbasis of all addresses where two (2) or more supplemental security incomerecipients reside.
