§ 23-17.6-1 Hospitals authorized toconduct. – Any hospital licensed by the state department of health may conduct a programwhich meets or exceeds the minimum standards established by the ambulanceservice coordinating board utilizing advanced emergency medical technicians forthe delivery of emergency care to the sick and injured at the scene of anemergency and during the transport to a hospital, while in the hospitalemergency department, and until care responsibility is assumed by the regularhospital staff.
