§ 23-20.11-8 Fire prevention and publicsafety fund. – There is hereby established in the custody of the state comptroller a specialfund to be known as the "Fire Prevention and Public Safety Fund." The fundshall consist of all monies recovered as penalties hereunder. Monies shall bedeposited to the credit of the fund and shall, in addition to any other moniesmade available for such purpose, be available to the director to support firesafety and prevention programs. All payments from the fund shall be made on theaudit and warrant of the state treasurer on vouchers certified and submitted bythe director.
