§ 23-28.5-3 Penalties for violations.– Any person refusing to allow inspections or hindering or obstructing theauthority having jurisdiction to make an inspection, shall be fined not lessthan twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100), orimprisoned for not more than thirty (30) days for each offense. Any persons whoshall refuse or neglect to remove the material of a combustible nature at theexpiration of the forty-eight (48) hours notice provided for in §23-28.5-2, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more thanfive hundred dollars ($500), or imprisoned for not more than sixty (60) daysfor each offense.
