§ 27-6-18 Disapproval of specific inlandmarine rates. – If, within thirty (30) days after a specific inland marine rate on a riskspecially rated by a rating organization, subject to § 27-6-12, has becomeeffective, the commissioner finds that the filing does not meet therequirements of this chapter, the commissioner shall send to the ratingorganization which made the filing written notice of disapproval of the filingspecifying in what respects he or she finds that the filing fails to meet therequirements of this chapter and stating when, within a reasonable period afterthis, the filing shall be deemed no longer effective. This disapproval shallnot affect any contract made or issued prior to the expiration of the periodset forth in the notice.
