§ 27-66-18 Implementation. – (a) The attorney general may take all steps necessary to effectuate thepurposes of § 27-66-15 and the board shall be appointed no more than sixty(60) days after the completion of the conversion. The board shall act promptlyto appoint an executive director, hire any staff as necessary, and acquirenecessary facilities and supplies to begin the operation of the foundation;
(b) The board shall conduct a public hearing to solicitcomments on the proposed mission statement, program agenda, corporatestructure, and strategic planning. The board shall hold a public hearing withinone hundred eighty (180) days of establishment of the board and on an annualbasis after this.
