SECTION 28-27-24.1

   § 28-27-24.1  Compelling obedience tosubpoenas. – In case of failure of any person to comply with any subpoena lawfully issued orsubpoena duces tecum, or on the refusal of any witness to testify to any matterregarding which he or she may be lawfully interrogated, it shall be the duty ofthe district court or any judge of the district court, on application by thedirector, to compel obedience by proceedings in the nature of those forcontempt.
