SECTION 28-35-22

   § 28-35-22  Inspection of premises –Examination of wage records – Medical examination. – The workers' compensation court may, with notice to all parties, causetestimony to be taken or an inspection of the premises where the injuryoccurred, to be had, or cause the time books and payroll records of theemployer to be examined by any judge of the workers' compensation court or anyexaminer appointed by it, and may from time to time direct any employeeclaiming compensation to be examined by an impartial physician as defined in§ 28-35-24; the testimony so taken and the results of any inspection orexamination, to be reported to the workers' compensation court for itsconsideration upon any hearing.
