SECTION 28-7-35

   § 28-7-35  Judicial enforcement ofsubpoena. – In case of contumacy or refusal to obey a subpoena issued to any person, thesuperior court of any county within the jurisdiction of which the inquiry iscarried on or within the jurisdiction of which the person guilty of contumacyor refusal to obey is found or resides or transacts business, upon applicationby the board, shall have jurisdiction to issue to the person an order requiringthe person to appear before the board, its member, agent, or agency, to produceevidence if so ordered, or to give testimony touching the matter underinvestigation or in question. Any failure to obey an order of the court may bepunished by the court as a contempt.
