§ 3-5-16.1 - Revocation of abandoned Class A licenses.

SECTION 3-5-16.1

   § 3-5-16.1  Revocation of abandoned Class Alicenses. – Whenever it comes to the attention of any local licensing authority as definedin § 3-5-15 that the holder of a Class A license has abandoned thepremises from which the licensee has been conducting his or her business or hasceased to operate under the license for a period of ninety (90) days or morethen after hearing with due notice to the licensee the local licensingauthority shall cancel the license; provided, that the authority may grant areasonable period of time, not to exceed one year, to the licensee within whichto reestablish the business where the abandonment or cessation of operating wasdue to illness, death, condemnation of business premises, fire or othercasualty.
