SECTION 30-2-10

   § 30-2-10  Order of militia into service tomeet federal call. – (a) Whenever the militia, or any part thereof, is called, ordered, or draftedunder the Constitution and laws of the United States, the governor shall orderfor this service the national guard, the naval militia, if organized, and ifthe number available is insufficient he or she shall order out such other partof the militia as may be necessary.

   (b) Upon the termination of an emergency all persons draftedfor the emergency as national guard when discharged from federal service shallresume their membership in the national guard. These persons shall continue toserve in the national guard until the dates upon which their enlistment enteredinto prior to the draft would have expired, if uninterrupted, under regulationsto be prescribed by the governor.
