SECTION 35-12-12

   § 35-12-12  Notes as legal investments.– The notes of the corporation are hereby made securities in which all publicofficers and bodies of this state and municipalities and municipalsubdivisions, all companies and associations and other persons carrying on aninsurance business, all banks, bankers, trust companies, savings banks, andsavings associations, including savings and loan associations, building andloan associations, investment companies, and other persons carrying on abanking business, all administrators, guardians, executors, trustees, and otherfiduciaries, and all other persons whatsoever who are authorized to invest inbonds or other obligations of the state may properly and legally invest funds,including capital, in their control or belonging to them.
