§ 37-6-8 Approval and filing ofconveyances to state. – Every instrument conveying an interest in land or other real property to thestate shall, prior to acceptance, be approved by the acquiring authority, andas to substance, by the director of administration, and as to form, by theattorney general, and a copy of each instrument of conveyance shall be filedwith the general treasurer.
