§ 4-6-9 Annual appropriations –Disbursements. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate any sum that it may deemnecessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter; and the state controlleris authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon the general treasurerfor the payment of that sum, or so much as may be required from time to time,upon the receipt by him or her of properly authenticated vouchers.
