SECTION 42-18-3
§ 42-18-3 Additional transfer of functionsfrom former department of social welfare. – There are hereby transferred to the director of the department of health:
(1) Those functions of the former department of socialwelfare which were administered through or with respect to the licensing ofhomes for aged and convalescent persons (title 40);
(2) All functions relating to the licensing of homes for agedand convalescent persons formerly in the department of social welfare and ofall other officers, employees, agencies and advisory councils, committees orcommissions involved in the licensing of homes for aged and convalescentpersons;
(3) So much of other functions or parts of functions of theformer director of the department of social welfare as is incidental to ornecessary for the performance of the functions transferred by subdivisions (1)and (2).
