§ 42-8.2-5 - Documents to be published in state register.

SECTION 42-8.2-5

   § 42-8.2-5  Documents to be published instate register. – There shall be published in the state register:

   (1) Gubernatorial proclamations and executive orders, exceptthose not having general applicability and legal effect or effective onlyagainst state agencies or persons in their capacities as officers, agents, oremployees thereof;

   (2) Documents or classes of documents that the governor maydetermine from time to time to have general applicability and legal effect;

   (3) Titles and legal explanations of all bills introducedinto the general assembly and the names of the committees to which each isreferred, committee schedules and agenda, and all bills enacted into law.However, failure to publish any publication after the event shall notinvalidate general assembly action on the bill or resolution; and

   (4) Other documents or classes of documents authorized to bepublished by regulations prescribed under this chapter with the approval of thegovernor or by resolution of the general assembly, but comments or news itemsof any character may not be published in the state register.
