§ 46-10-14 Bond of director. – The director of the department of environmental management shall give bond tothe general treasurer for the faithful discharge of the director's duty underthis chapter with sufficient sureties to the acceptance of the generaltreasurer, in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000); and any person, havinga claim against the director for any breach or neglect of the director'sofficial duty, may have a remedy therefor by a suit on his or her bond, to beprosecuted in the name of the general treasurer.
