§ 46-10-9 Sale of property to pay duties.– The commissioner may, within thirty (30) days after taking into his or hercustody the property so found, sell at public auction so much thereof as shallbe sufficient to pay all duties thereon, which he or she shall have paid or forwhich he or she shall become liable to the customhouse.
