§ 46-17.2-7 Penalty. – Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of amisdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousanddollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both a fineand imprisonment.
