§ 5-3.1-25 Repeal provisions – Effectof prior laws, rules, and regulations. – All other acts or parts of acts in conflict with this chapter are repealed;provided, that nothing contained in this chapter invalidates or affects anyaction taken under any law in effect prior to January 1, 2000; nor does itinvalidate or affect any proceeding instituted under that law before January 1,2000; nor does it invalidate the rules and regulations promulgated by the RhodeIsland board of accountancy under the prior law, the rules and regulations (tothe extent they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter) toremain in full force and effect until new rules and regulations are promulgatedby the board.
