§ 5-35.1-2 - Qualifications to practice optometry.

SECTION 5-35.1-2

   § 5-35.1-2  Qualifications to practiceoptometry. – (a) Every applicant for licensure shall present satisfactory evidence in theform of affidavits properly sworn to that he or she;

   (1) is of good moral character; and

   (2) has graduated from a school or college or optometry whichmaintains a course in optometry of not less than four (4) years and is approvedby the accreditation council on optometric education (ACOE) or otheraccrediting body as approved by the board; and

   (3) has successfully passed a national examination or otherexaminations approved by the department and the board; and

   (4) any other qualifications as may be established in rulesand regulations promulgated by the department.
