§ 6-1-4 Penalty for violations. – Any person or persons carrying on, conducting, or transacting business asmentioned in this chapter who shall fail to comply with the provisions of thischapter shall be imprisoned not exceeding one year, or fined not exceeding fivehundred dollars ($500).
