SECTION 7-6-19

   § 7-6-19  Notice of members' meetings.– Unless otherwise provided in the articles of incorporation or the bylaws,written notice stating the place, day, and hour of the meeting and, in case ofa special meeting, the purpose or purposes for which the meeting is called,shall be delivered not less than ten (10) nor more than 60 days before the dateof the meeting, either personally or by mail, by or at the direction of thepresident, or the secretary, or the officers or persons calling the meeting, toeach member entitled to vote at the meeting. If mailed, the notice is deemed tobe delivered when deposited in the United States mail addressed to the memberat his or her address as it appears on the records of the corporation, withpostage prepaid.
