33-16-28. Salary and expenses of county service officer--Office space and equipment. A county veterans' service officer may be employed either part time or full time. The salary and necessary mileage and expense allowance of the officer shall be determined by the board or boards of county commissioners employing the officer. The officer shall be provided with office space, office fixtures, furnishings, and equipment, either in the courthouse or some other central and accessible place.
