Section 33-17A-39 - Application of state laws and procedure.
33-17A-39. Application of state laws and procedure. Except where inconsistent with §§ 33-17A-1 to 33-17A-40, inclusive, the laws of this state relating to guardian and ward and the judicial practice relating thereto, including the right to trial by jury and the right of appeal, are applicable to beneficiaries of the United States Department of Veterans' Affairs and their estates.
