34A-2-50. Notice to applicant of denial, revocation, suspension or modification of permit--Hearing requested by applicant--Decision by secretary. If the secretary recommends denial of an application for a permit, or revokes, suspends, or modifies a permit, he shall give written notice of his action to the applicant or holder, who may request a hearing before the secretary. Such hearing shall be held within thirty days after receipt of written request. The secretary may affirm, modify, or reverse his initial decision based upon the evidence presented at the hearing.
