36-21A-9. "Inactive licensee" defined. For the purposes of this chapter, an inactive licensee is any licensee whose license has been returned to the commission by the licensees' responsible broker, a licensee who has returned his license to the commission and requested the commission to place the license on inactive status, or a new licensee who has failed to designate a responsible broker.
