Section 40-1-9 - Instigation, permitting or viewing animal fight prohibited--Spectating asmisdemeanor.
40-1-9. Instigation, permitting or viewing animal fight prohibited--Spectating as misdemeanor. No person, for amusement purposes or for wager, may cause any animal to fight or injure another.
No person may knowingly permit any animal fighting or injuring on any premises under his charge or control.
It is a Class 1 misdemeanor to be present at any animal fighting as a spectator.
