43-24-106. Contracts with private owners for use of land.

(a)  Owners of land may make available to the department parcels of land for the purposes set forth in § 43-24-103 under such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon between the owners and the department. Owners shall make known their intent to make parcels of land available in the same manner as provided for counties, cities, municipalities and other agencies and departments in § 43-24-105.

(b)  The state of Tennessee, the department and all of its officers, agents and employees shall be saved harmless when owners of land make parcels available to the department in the same manner provided in § 43-24-103.
